Larry Fish was born in Bucyrus, Kansas and graduated from Washburn University of Topeka in 1982 with a BA in Political Science. Serving as a law enforcement officer from 1983-1994, he worked with the University of Kansas Police Department and the Kansas Attorney General's Office. After that, he served as Assistant Director of the Northeast Kansas Regional Juvenile Detention Center from 1994-1997. Larry entered the ministry in 1997, was ordained in 2005, and came to New Life Wesleyan Church in 2008. He and his wife, Denise have three sons, two daughters-in-law and three grandchildren that keep them laughing and busy.
Joe was born in Topeka, KS and attended Fairlawn Heights Wesleyan Church growing up. After graduating from Kansas State University, and getting married, Joe received the call to ministry while attending a Re-focus retreat in Salina, KS. Since then, he has become a licensed minister and is working towards ordination in the Wesleyan church. He is currently completing his supervised ministry requirement at NLWC and has been an assistant pastor and worship leader at the church since January 2010. Joe and his wife Laura have two children, Cole and Kaci Hodgson.
The greatest reward in ministry is seeing a new believer (or even a long-time believer) allow their faith in Christ to lead them away from what's normal and comfortable, and through difficult or risky circumstances.
